"The Ghosts Are Coming" is the first song I recognize as an "official" release. It spawns from, what I consider to be maybe my first real interesting "riff". For a long, LONG time, I had that chord progression lying around and I could never figure out what to do with it, and one day I just opened up FL Studio and played it, and it just clicked. The lead guitar parts are completely improvised, and I thought it would add some nice atmosphere to add some samples during the second verse. (Yes, I know it's instrumental. But there is still a clear song structure)
It has a cover of "Destination Ursa Major" by Superdrag as a B-side... which I had planned to be on the album, originally, until I decided it would kind of suck to have a cover on my first album's tracklist.
